I’m Korean, I live in Seoul, and guess what? I actually travel outside Seoul for my skin treatments! 😂

My destination is Haruyoung Clinic (하루영의원) near Sanghyeon Station in Gwanggyo. It’s approximately a 30-minute subway ride from Sinnonhyeon Station via the Shinbundang Line, with no transfers required!

I first visited for Rejuran and Belotero Revive, and I liked the experience so much that I returned just three weeks later.

💎 Why I Chose Haruyoung Clinic

With so many famous skin clinics in Gangnam, why did I choose Haruyoung?

First, it’s a single-doctor clinic, meaning I can see the same doctor consistently. Unlike high-volume, assembly-line-style clinics where consultations and treatments can feel rushed, I personally prefer having one doctor who gets to know my skin over time. (aka. factory clinics🏥🏭🏨)

During my first visit, the doctor carefully examined my skin and listened to my concerns instead of immediately recommending multiple procedures. My skin was dry and sensitive, and although I was interested in both Rejuran and Revive, she initially suggested starting with Rejuran.

I eventually chose both after discussing my options.

Another highlight? The atmosphere! The clinic feels more like a luxurious spa than a typical medical clinic. I especially loved the private treatment rooms and the relaxing environment. 🌿

💉 My First Rejuran + Belotero Revive Experience

For my first Korean skin booster treatment, I received: Rejuran Healer 2cc + Belotero Revive 1cc = 3cc total.

Rejuran contains polynucleotides (PN), while Belotero Revive combines hyaluronic acid and glycerol. Both are used in skin-quality treatments, although they work differently.

Now, the million-dollar question: Does Rejuran hurt?

YES! 😂 But honestly, it was more manageable than I’d expected.

The staff applied plenty of numbing cream, and the doctor used a vibrating device during the injections to help distract from the pain.

Belotero Revive felt relatively comfortable, while Rejuran was definitely more painful.

My personal pain score: 7.5/10. 🔥

The injections took approximately seven minutes, followed by an LDM treatment.

I was nervous before going in, but I left feeling surprisingly pleased with the experience!

✨ My Second Visit: 5cc of Skin Boosters + Laser Toning

Three weeks later, I was back!

This time, I received Rejuran Healer 2cc + Rejuran I 1cc + Belotero Revive 2cc, a total of 5cc.

I also joined the clinic’s Year Young Plan, a personalized skin management program. For my first session, the doctor recommended Haruyoung Hydra Care, one of the clinic’s skincare programs, based on my skin’s dryness.

My treatment day included AstroDome oxygen therapy and three lasers in this order: Pico Plus Toning → Genesis Toning → Pico Sure Toning

Surprisingly, the lasers were virtually painless for me, even without numbing cream!

Afterward came the injections. Belotero Revive was relatively manageable, Rejuran I around my eyes was a little uncomfortable (yes, a few tears! 🥹), and Rejuran Healer was somewhere in between for me.

All 5cc of injections took approximately 10 minutes, and the session finished with LDM care.

It was quite the Korean skincare day! 💕

What I love most about Haruyoung isn’t just the treatments. It’s the personalized consultations, consistent care from one doctor, thoughtful pain management, and beautiful spa-like atmosphere.

I’ve already visited twice, and I’ve booked my next appointment for next month! Haha. 😂
